MEEKER | The public is invited to attend the Opportunity Expo on Tuesday, May
13, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Meeker Town Hall Business Center, located on the
second floor of Meeker Town Hall, 345 Market St., Meeker, CO 81641. Rio Blanco residents,
entrepreneurs, and job seekers will have a chance to learn about business resources, discuss
financing opportunities, career opportunities, and workforce training opportunities with the
following organizations and others:
• Colorado Office of Just Transition
• Northwest Colorado Development Council
• Meeker Chamber of Commerce
• Northwest Colorado Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
• Colorado Workforce Center
• CHFA
• Natural Soda
This dynamic event is designed to support small businesses, provide access to startup and
expansion resources, and highlight job openings in the region. Attendees can learn more about
local, regional, and state programs, funding options, speak directly with representatives from
workforce and economic development organizations, and network with others.
A special feature of the evening will be a Business Showcase, featuring Natural Soda, one of
Rio Blanco County’s largest employers. Natural Soda will provide insight into their operations
and available career opportunities, making this a can’t-miss event for anyone interested in
working with a leading local company. Natural Soda produces pure, natural sodium bicarbonate
